Scope and content

King's College, Cambridge. - Preliminary plans for the tour: thinks of going to India in September or early October, perhaps via Egypt; spending some months in India, Burmah [Myanmar], Siam and Java; then on to Japan, say in April, and on to China, returning in late summer by the Siberian railway. Thinks Trevelyan does not want to be away longer than six months, so perhaps he could come out to Japan and join him in the spring. Forster will be travelling to India with him. If Trevelyan comes to India, passage must be booked quickly.
