Herstmonceux - JCH hopes WW will not pass them by on his trip and hopes they can come and stay at the end of next week. JCH rejoices at the prospect of WW buying a house in his neighbourhood: 'I know not how near the sea you wd wish to be; & probably we are too far. Else there is a very pretty interesting Elizabethan house (I shd think it must be of that age) on the borders of my parish, not two miles from my door'.
