WW's address gave JCH great delight. It is almost the same as what JCH was saying in his Charge. 'Only it seems to me of paramount importance to state directly & prominently that there is no Scriptural determination concerning the effects of Infant Baptism. Else it wd be said that the address comes from a body of latitudinarian philosophers [a sketch of JCH's address is attached].
