Bevan], 'an extremely kind man and an excellent doctor'; is to have radiotherapy; had a poor time in Oxford but is feeling better; the Bouwsmas were 'angelic, & so was Miss Anscombe'; cannot think of work; 'it doesn't matter, if only I don't live too long!' Is not depressed. Von Wright has come to see him twice.
