Scope and content

Thanks his mother for her letter. The [school] paper came out yesterday: there are sixteen pages instead of eight so he is sending it 'in a wrapper' and not with his letter. They 'had an Evening for the marks' last Monday. Is 'getting on very well'. Booth has a bad ear-ache; Robert does not think Lewin is coming back and 'none of us are very sorry'. Wilson ma[jor] is not well and is 'kept apart' from the rest of them; Wilson mi[nor] is in Lewin's bed, he 'hardly speaks at all' but is very nice. There will be 'a Cameron match' next Saturday.
