Scope and content
Welcombe, Stratford on Avon. - Caroline and Aunt Anna [Philips] have received letters from Robert; they look forward to seeing him before he goes abroad. He writes about Julian's theatre: likes to think of Julian's 'tastes, and interests, and aptitudes'. Sir George and Caroline want Elizabeth to pay them a good visit in which she can be one of the family, 'for that, God knows, you are'. She can discuss with Aunt Anna when the best time to visit would be.
