Scope and content
Wallington, Cambo, Morpeth. - Julian says he is going to the Park [Anna Philips's house] tomorrow; hopes he will find Elizabeth there and as well as possible after her 'painful illness'. Will go to Newcastle today with his cousins by car and check the train times; they will make sure he takes his lunch with him. Sends five pounds to cover the money he says Elizabeth has given for his journeys, and has given him something for to spend in Newcastle. Is 'very busy and far from well'; thanks Elizabeth for the kind letter which was brought by Mary Caroline and sends love to Aunt Anna.
