18 Mansfield Street, Portland Place, W.
I forgot to give you back your watch when you left. Thank you so much for it, it made a great difference to me, and I expect also to whoever was with me, as it prevented my endless questions about the time.
Are you doing anything Thursday evening {1}, will you dine here?
Anyway let’s do something either Saturday or Sunday if you do decide to throw over Lady Airdale {2}.
The yachting party returns Saturday I believe, lateish {3}.
I’ve just come back, and deplore this tardy heat.
Let me know about Thursday!

{1} 6 June.
{2} The correct spelling is Airedale. The reference is either to Mary, the dowager Lady Airedale, or to Florence, the wife of the 2nd Baron.
{3} The Enchantress arrived at Portsmouth, in fact, on the morning of Monday the 10th.
