Portée et contenu

Seven sheets, at least three of which (originally folded) seem to have formed part of a book, have suffered from damp damage and are now preserved in melinex sleeves. Also the top portion of a letter from [Edward] Frederick Smyth Pigott, 2 May 1862 written on behalf of A[lfred?] Assollant, who has recently come to London, and another sheet, once much folded, with a few addresses and other notes.
