21 Eden Quay, Dublin - MC is glad that WW has received both the almanacs and 'the little article on Central Forces'. He also hopes he has received his tract on 'Quadratic duplicate equalities'. He was too late in his application for the Mastership of the Liverpool Institute. MC would appreciate the patronage of WW in his future quest for posts since he is entirely unsupported by any private interest.
