Archival history

This volume, like Crewe MS 84, was once in the collection of Martin Routh. It was sold by Sotheby and Wilkinson with the rest of Routh’s manuscripts on 5 July 1855. On the verso of the front free endpaper is written ‘(26)’ and ‘Bought at Dr Rouths sale for 4 guineas.’
