Masham - The portrait of Dr Smith hanging in Trinity College Lodge was one of three belonging to the widow of TR's mother's uncle - General Edmeston. The other two paintings are all now in his possession. TR gives information on the respective artists, including the artist of the Smith painting, John Vanderbank.
