Portée et contenu

Over 100 photographs from Barbara Nixon's schooldays at Bedales with class photographs and candid images of classmates, of interior and exterior views of Bedales buildings including the library, fives court, swimming pool, and images of theatre productions that Barbara Nixon acted in, with candids of sports events, and haying, with some images at the end of the album of family members[?]. None of the captions pasted in to the album carry captions. There are nine photographs laid in loose, one of which identifies her as Juliet in a Bedales production in June 1926, another photograph of a large group identified as 'Plebs Summer School', Whitsun, 1924, and one shows airplanes flying in formation.
