Scope and content
'Caution to the Unwary. All Persons who have no wish to condemn and injure the Queen are warned against signing such general addresses of loyalty to the King as are now in circulation. Those Gentlemen with whom such addresses originate, very well know, that the King's Ministers will interpret the meaning to be approbation of the measures already adopted without success against the Queen, and encouragement to any further measures which may be still in contemplation against her Majesty. If those Gentlemen really entertain no such intention themselves; in the name of honour and consistency, let them openly avow it! Richmond, December 30th, 1820. Printed by L. Macfarlan, Richmond.'
