RJ has been ill. He will certainly come to Lowestoft in a week or two. 'I have very satisfactory promised of being provided for in my profession but how and where neither I nor the government can know and the uncertainty of course worries us both we strive that it should do so as little as possible and stick to some provision compatible with Haileybury which I hope providence will send us [-] all this is private'.
