What subjects does WW recommend for the examination: 'The deep attention you have given to the whole subject of education, the result of which is the exposition of views and principles the soundness of which must be universally admitted persuade me that you will be disposed kindly to give the question your thoughtful consideration'. However, the standard at Eton 'must be low, for there is very little time given to mathematical reading'.
