129-172: letters to R. C. Trevelyan in response to the news of his engagement and material relating to wedding presents, except for 171 which is a 1950 letter from Tet Htoot to R. C. Trevelyan.
173-225: letters of thanks to R. C. Trevelyan; 173-210 are all in response to pamphlets sent at Christmas in 1944 and 1945, "From the Shiffolds"; these are the prompt for some other letters, but there are also thanks for Trevelyan's 1938 poem in memory of Goldsworthy Lowes Dickinson and one from Thomas Sturge Moore thanking Elizabeth and R.C. Trevelyan for a monetary gift.
