Hopes he may soon 'dispense with invalid ways' as he longs to; the major danger is from his 'unnecessarily great weight'; he should keep to a strict diet, rise from meals hungry, and walk as much as he can outdoors. The Trevelyans' 'beautiful high place' will do him good; hopes they have good weather.
