The Shiffolds, Holmbury St. Mary, Dorking. Dated 1 December 1926; correction reads 'should be 1 Jan 1926'. - Thanks Bridges for sending "New Verse": he had already got a copy and enjoyed the poems so much he is all the more glad for the gift. Praises "Kates' Mother"; he still has a problems with scansion with the other poems. Likes "Come si quando" even more than he did when he first read it; also praises "The Tapestry", "The Tramps", and "The Great Elm", and the 'Catullian poems' are a joy to him though he has problems with the vocabulary.
