Scope and content

Announces that he can make two alterations in his programme. States that he is bound to £70 but not to seven examiners. Observes that Sidgwick does not mention the Mathematical Examiner, and would like Sidgwick to find one for him. Refers to the marking of the Classical Papers and the English Composition Papers. Mentions the provision of 'some sort of systematic examination for the Great Schools' by the public schools, and expresses his wish to find the best mode of conducting that examination in relation to Rugby.
