Writes on the death of Henry Sidgwick to offer sympathy to Nora in her 'great sorrow'. Claims that she loved HS, despite meeting him 'too few times'; at Addington, Terling. Refers to his 'wonderful gentle, sympathetic, brilliant nature.' Knows that her life 'is cut in two', and that she must be lonely, as 'nothing can fill that place or the enormous gap that must be.' Remarks on the swift passage of time, and claims to feel no difference since the days at [ ] [ ] when she was a child.
