States that he has 'carefully compared the Contemporary [Review] article with The [Principles of] Political Economy', and concludes that it should be republished. Remarks that, in preparing the second edition of Political Economy Henry 'made use of the material contained in the article, and two or three pages are reproduced almost in the same form.' Adds, however, that he cannot find part of the article in the book at all, and that the arrangement is different, 'so that the treatment as a whole does not give quite the same impression.' States that the Economic Journal article does not overlap with the Political Economy at all, and should unquestionably be republished.' Undertakes to send back the two articles to Nora.
