A note on the folder indicates that the miniature of Porson was declared missing Feb. 1963. It is not clear, however, that the miniature was ever included with the letters here as supposed by the librarian in 1963; it is possible that the mention of the miniature on the folder was referring merely to the subject of the letters inside.
