8, Grosvenor Crescent, S.W. - Sorry to hear Bessie has such a bad cold; weather 'disagreeable' here, she has 'never seen such a backward spring'. Pleased the wedding can be arranged for Whit week; the Trevelyans propose to come at the end of the previous week and would prefer the ceremony to take place early in the week. Glad Bessie's Grandmont cousins can come; looking forward to meeting her relations. Has had a letter from Robert saying he will be in town next Monday. Asks if Bessie has ordered her wedding dress yet; sends Forsyth's bill. They are going to Welcombe for a fortnight in April, then will be in London till Whit. Sir George is well and working steadily; George is climbing mountains in Wales. Fears Robert has been 'rather lonely'; it is 'delightful' to think that soon Bessie and he will be together at the Mill House. Hopes her aunt will recover when the warm weather comes. Postscript saying that none of them are superstitious, but they would like Tuesday or Wednesday best 'so as to return towards the end of the week'.
