Scope and content

Wallington, Cambo, Northumberland. - Bessie will find letters at Ravello; sends this to catch them before leaving Florence so they will not think they are forgotten. The family have 'all been reading the book [Robert's "Polyphemus and Other Poems"?]... writing to the author about it. Miss Martin has not yet received her copy. The shawl has been a comfort in the last fortnight's cold weather. The three [Sir George, Charles and George Macauley Trevelyan?] have gone out for a last pheasant shoot today; it has been a record year for game. Glad they are having a 'pleasant time at Mr Berenson's'; asks to be remembered to him. Loves Italy and envies them being there; glad they are going to Pompei, and recommends staying at the Quisisana at Castellammare [di Stabia].
