The shawl has been a comfort in the last fortnight's cold weather. The three [Sir George, Charles and George Macauley Trevelyan?] have gone out for a last pheasant shoot today; it has been a record year for game. Glad they are having a 'pleasant time at Mr Berenson's'; asks to be remembered to him. Loves Italy and envies them being there; glad they are going to Pompei, and recommends staying at the Quisisana at Castellammare [di Stabia].
