Lunched today with Alys and Logan [Pearsall Smith]; thinks Logan is better. Will bring down Sarawad's [sic, corrected to Suhrawardy in pencil] poems which Bob gave him, and Irene C.W.'s [Cooper Willis] book on Emily Bronte, if he can find them; says he knows Irene's book 'by heart' and can repeat it if necessary.
