Portée et contenu

Moult, Salcombe, Devon. - Is returning to London, and will test the ground to see if it is worth trying to get a [Civil List] pension for Gordon [Bottomley], which he thinks would be an 'excellent thing'. Asks when "Gruach" will be published, which would 'probably strengthen his claims enormously'; thinks it is 'sure to be well received, & there are no lice in it wh[ich] put people so terribly against Mrs Lear [Bottomley's "King Lear's Wife", 1915].

      Note

Dated '24.9.12', but since "King Lear's Wife" was being worked on by Bottomley in 1914, and "Gruach" did not appear until 1921, this may be an error for 1922.
