1 Beaufort Mansions, Chelsea, SW13 [sic]. - Is in Marlborough, but expects to be in London for a while on Monday. It was very pleasant to see the Trevelyans again; the 'house and arrangements' are very comfortable. Hopes that Clifford [Allen] is getting better. Is sorry to have caused 'that curious little explosion which I hardly understand myself'. Is afraid it might have worried Clifford.
