24, Coram street, Russell Square, W.C. - Thanks Trevelyan for the invitation; he has been unwell and unhappy recently, in part because of the strain of the 'wholly uninteresting subject of law' and has not seen many friends; asks if it is all right to defer his visit until the spring when the weather will be warmer. Has had inflamed eyes so was unable to write earlier.
