The Gallows, Ryton. Dymock, Gloucester. - Will be delighted to see Russell, has often wanted to meet him. Asks whether Trevelyan and his wife might come to stay towards the end of the summer. Will be publishing ["The Sale of] St. Thomas" soon; also hopes to bring out "Emblems of Love" next spring with a publisher such as Lane, and has made arrangements to write a book of prose dialogues ["Speculative Dialogues"]. Discusses his decision to refuse the theatre job.
