Welcombe, Stratford on Avon. - Enjoyed staying with Bessie very much. There has been so much snow here they were able to go sledging on the hill in front of Welcombe. Goes for rides on Tit-Bits [the pony] with Whitley [the groom?] riding another horse. Hopes Bessie will be better soon and 'able to walk about'; sends love to 'Julian and Uncle Bob and Nursie'.
