On headed notepaper for the Harrow Philathletic Club, with 'The Grove, Harrow' added in Robert Trevelyan's hand:- Would be an 'excellent plan to dispose of the cake' as she suggests; the 'boys would be only too glad to have it', and they would make sure that 'all had their share'. The snow will put off most sports until next term, so the cake 'will not effect [sic] their training'.
Is glad to hear his mother is 'still getting better'; all are 'quite well' here. Asks if Charlie is still at Cambridge. Also asks if she can check with his father whether Robert can have 'an order for 25 eleven photos' of himself, since 'everyone in the eleven wants one; Mr Bowen says Robert can 'get a home order for them'. The eleven group photograph is probably going to be taken tomorrow. It 'is a very expensive business being in the eleven, what with clothes and photos'. Adds a postscript sending love to his father and Boa [Mary Prestwich]; thanks Boa for 'writing the letters'.
