Portée et contenu

Welcombe, Stratford on Avon. - Reassures Robert that Julian will talk when he wants something he cannot get without words. George 'picked up' on the last couple of days, but needs 'a change of thought, and a real holiday'; will see whether he has the review by Villari. Sir George's book [the last volume of "The American Revolution"] come out on 12 February and cannot now be affected by a printers' strike. Will be glad to 'welcome' Robert's ["The Bride of Dionysus"]. Has been studying the new "Harrow Register"; sees that twenty-two of the thirty-seven boys who came in his own 'quarter' are now dead; though not 'dear old Butler' whose letter, with some verses, he sends to Robert; wants Butler's letter back, and also Rollo Russell's address
