Welcombe, Stratford on Avon. - Sends something which might amuse Robert, having previously sent it to George as he thought him more likely to be the writer's contemporary at Harrow; sees from the "Harrow Register" that he was at the Grove; he was once a Conservative candidate and edited a Conservative [journal?]. Asks whether Robert knows him; his writing is 'that of a man who might have preceded [Sir George] at Harrow'. Proud that Robert has read his book already; thinks it is doing well.
