Scope and content
8, Grosvenor Crescent, S.W. - Glad that Robert and Elizabeth approve of 'George's choice'; Sir George and Caroline think she is the 'right wife for him'. Liked her when she was in Northumberland. Interested about the Haslemere house, which seems a good plan. Has sent in the last revised proof [of "The American Revolution"] and has worked on Volume One of the 'ultimate cheap edition'. The meeting in Hyde Park on Saturday [against the London Education Bill] was 'a splendid success', as even the "Times" admits.
