Portée et contenu
8, Grosvenor Crescent, S.W. - Robert knows what he feels about [the death of Paul]; was 'not unprepared for it', but that is the only comfort. He and Caroline have shown 'in action, rather than words' how they loved Paul for his own sake and his parents. This is the 'first great grief' of Caroline's life. Will hear everything from her when she gets to them. Is glad 'dear George' was in London and could go to them.
