Scope and content

Worplesdon St. Mary, Nr. Guildford. - Suggests that if the place and climate are not suiting Bessie's 'nice trustworthy nurse', and she herself found all her young maids got very anaemic in her own hilly place in Scotland, Bessie might ask her doctor if he would recommend moving the household to somewhere quiet on the south coast for four or five months, perhaps Milford-on-Sea. This might also make her 'beautiful strong baby' even more as he starts to get on his feet. Is a great believer in the benefits of sea air, and winters there are often sunny and 'even in temperature'. Asks Bessie to forgive the suggestion, but was very sorry to see her anxiety at the thought of changing her nurse.
