40 Well Walk. - Thanks Bob and Bessie for 'all that we receive' from them; feels that he benefits from 'mistaken notions', since he is not 'hard up', nor has he ben so recently, and has in fact been thinking of 'dispersing [his] collections' as gifts if he can find appropriate recipients as he thinks he will soon not be able to care for them properly himself. However, was 'delighted' to get the Trevelyans' gift and the opportunity it offers of 'new treasures that were till now beyond [his] means].
