Twelve letters dated between 30 May 1889 and 3 May 1913, mostly congratulations and condolences. Accompanied by The Sword of Goliath, Youth's Earliest Victory, An Address to No. 5 Officer Cadet Battalion in the Chapel of Trinity College May 7th 1916 by Butler, "Nevile's Court A Hospital", an order of service for 17 Jan. 1918 featuring Butler's hymn "Jesus died for us, and rose again!", two cuttings from The Times, Butler's obituary and a description of his funeral, and a Trinity College circular announcing arrangements for his funeral.
