Note on inside front cover: 'Hartwell Library. Bound July 1849'. Hartwell was the home of Dr. John Lee, whose bookplate is beneath this note; the label '55' pasted to the front cover may well be Lee's reference. A note in pencil suggests that the MS was 'probably by John Antonie'; John Lee inherited the papers of the Antonie family from his uncle William Lee Antonie.

      Papers belonging to the Antonie family of Colworth House, Sharnbrook, are held at Bedfordshire Archives, ref. X800.
