Portée et contenu

Acknowledges what a 'painful effort' it must have been for Nora to write to her [and her husband]. Assures her that Edith Sharpley is keeping them informed of Henry's progress. Reports that she is 'sitting out of doors in the sun, feeling bitter against the shining that cannot lighten [Nora's] sorrow, or give [Henry] back the life and strength he used so beautifully.' Speaks of how much he has done for so many, both directly, and indirectly 'through the influence of his noble and delightful personality.' Claims that he has 'made the world bigger and better for every one in contact with him.'
