These items were given to Library by Sir Walter Greg’s family in 1969 along with other books and papers formerly belonging to him. The gift was acknowledged in a College Council minute of 21 November, and an inventory of the contents was made about the same time. Most of the printed material was added to the Library stock, and six manuscript volumes were catalogued as Add. MS. c. 219-24. The present collection contains the rest of the manuscript material, including letters and papers removed from some of the printed items.
For a detailed account of the whole accession see the PDF file under ‘Uploaded finding aid’.
