Postmarked Staines. - Is just starting on Ariadne's dream [in the last act of "The Bride of Dionysus"]; the new introduction is very good though he cites a line he thinks he must omit. Will take on Act IV as a 'change of air' before he tackles the 'real solid part of the dream'; asks Trevelyan for a clause about the difficulties of interpreting dreams, giving 'as usual... the fullest possible account of the state of mind [he] would like to impute to Ariadne'
