Note
The borrowed Newton item is identified as part of the Cullum bequest [the Cullum autograph collection]. The note is signed by Newton and recommends Captain [Daniel] Newhouse's proposed book 'The whole Art of Navigation'. The verso contains a similar recommendation signed by Thomas Street.
When the Newton note returned it was filed in this folder but in 2021 was rehoused with the Cullum collection and given the shelfmark Cullum O.28.
