Writes to express his sympathy with Nora on the death of Henry Sidgwick, the loss of whom, he claims, is sustained not only by her, but also by learning and by England. Claims to have had a great admiration for Henry, and refers to his noble character and great intellectual gifts. Prays that God will enable her to bear her affliction 'with courage and resignation'.
