Scope and content

Handed in at Santa Barbara, California. - Instalment [of music for the production of Trevelyan's translation of Aeschylus's "Oresteia" by the Cambridge Festival Theatre] sent by air mail; if Trevelyan wires the latest date by which music can usefully received Tovey will try to finish the whole, but he doubts that legible copies can be made so it will probably be necessary to use Cambridge music. A pencil note on the back seems to be a draft reply by Trevelyan: the performance has been postponed; he needs a complete rough score by 20 Oct.
